![]() Tubes are mounted flush with the top of the top triple tree, and there were no signs of lowering springs (spacers, etc.) upon removing the fork springs. Top of top tree -> axle centerline: ~29-1/4" (unweighted) Top of top tree -> bottom of slider: 30-1/4" (unweighted) My research is as follows:Īt this point in time, I have not been able to completely disassemble the forks to take my own measurements of the pieces currently on my Sportster. I've cross referenced multiple part numbers to gauge an idea of what parts I may need to replace in order to increase my fork height. ![]() I'd like to increase the height of the front forks, to what I believe is a Standard height, or slightly taller. I've since installed standard rear shocks, which leaves the front end diving. To keep it simple - I want to raise the forks on my 1995 XLH1200, with suspension travel and comfort a priority.Īt this time, I'm unaware if the suspension was previously modified, so I'm not entirely sure what I'm working with here (small shocks were already installed when purchased - factory?). I apologize in advance if this topic has already been beaten to a pulp, but I've done some serious searching and haven't come up with a solidified resolution.
